Admission Notification for M.V.Sc/M.F.Sc/Ph.D

Applications from eligible candidates are invited for admission into M.V.Sc /  M.F.Sc courses and Ph.D courses in Veterinary Sciences for the academic year 2013-14.

Course Details :

1. M.V.Sc / M.F.Sc courses

Qualification : 

B.V.Sc & A.H / M.F.Sc B.F.Sc of 4 years duration

Age : 

The upper age limit is 40 years as on 01-07-2013

2. Ph.D course

Qualification : 

Master of Science or an equivalent examination in Veterinary Science from SVVU / ANGRAU or from an institution accredited by ICAR in the concerned field of specialization with at least 70% marks.

Age : 

The upper age limit is 50 years as on 01-07-2013

How to apply : 

1. The applications shall be downloaded from www.svvu.edu.in 
2. The duly filled in application along with attested copies of required certificates and a crossed demand draft for Rs.600/- towards Registration fee(Rs.300/- in case of SC/ST/PH students) drawn on any Nationalized bank favouring Comptroller, SVVU, payable at Tirupati, should reach the Registrar, SVVU, Administrative Office Dr .Y.S.R.Bhavan, Tirupati –517 502 on or before 23-11-2013 by 4.00 PM either in person or by Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due. 
3. Applications received after this due date will summarily be rejected. 
4. Candidates who are in employment should send their applications through proper channel failing which they will be summarily rejected. 
5. The University is not responsible for any postal delay.

How to apply :

• Application forms can be downloaded or obtained in person or by post (Rs.45/- self addressed stamped envelope to be enclosed) from the Dean of Examinations, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati. Filled in applications with a demand draft for Rs.1,200/- for General Students and Rs.800/- for SC/ST students towards registration fee drawn in favour of the Registrar, SPMVV, Tirupati should reach the Dean, Academic Affairs, SPMVV, Tirupati-517 502 on or before 30-11-2013. 
• RESET-2013 will be conducted on 6.1.2014 at 10.30 a.m. in SPMVV, Tirupati. 
• Application without registration fee will be summarily rejected. 
• RESET is common for both M.phil and Ph.D. programmes in the concerned discipline. However, candidates applying for both M.Phil. and Ph.D. should submit separate applications with separate registration fee.
